Where is Port St. Johns?
Port St. Johns is a small coastal town located on the Wild Coast of the Eastern Cape Province in South Africa. Nestled between the dramatic cliffs and lush forests where the Umzimvubu River meets the Indian Ocean.
OPTION 1: FROM JOHANNESBURG
*This is the quickest and safest route to make your way to Port St. Johns.

OPTION 2: FROM DURBAN
King Shaka is an International airport, so some airlines fly directly in to Durban.
Alternatively you will need to take a domestic flight from Johannesburg to Durban (King Shaka International Airport).
This is a popular option for those who are planning to do additional diving at Aliwal Shoal or Protea Banks. ProDive can arrange a road transfer from the Durban area to Port St. Johns – approx. 5 – 6 hour drive
OPTION 3: FROM EAST LONDON
A transfer can be arranged from East London to Port St. Johns which is approximately a 5 hour drive. This road is known for its lack of fences & stray animals on the road; should be taken with caution and avoided at night.
